The best cashback credit card in Malaysia 2021

A recommended cash back credit card in Malaysia

A credit card is good to build a person's credit score and manage personal wealth in a better way. In my opinion, a credit card definitely better than a debit card as the bank "borrow" you the money and only required to pay back the money later (50> days) with 0% interest. A good practice is always clear the credit card bill on time and pays the full amount instead of the minimum amount.

The credit card that I would like to recommend was Citi Cash Back Mastercard. I personally used this card for 1 year and totally satisfied with it. A lot of cashback campaigns will be carried out by Citibank from time to time. This card is suitable for people like fresh grad with moderate expenses but wants to earn HIGH percentage of cashback. I will list down the requirement and the features of this card below.

Requirement to apply

  • Minimum annual income RM36,000
  • 18 years old or above

Features

  • Spend RM500 and above every month and get 10% cashback on food delivery, petrol, groceries, dining and Grab (RM50 in total)
  • Any other retail spends earn you 0.2% cashback
  • No monthly minimum spend

It is easy to achieve the RM500 usage per month as we are allowed to top-up e-wallet using a credit card. You can easily top-up to your e-wallet and withdraw back to your bank account anytime (supported by selected e-wallet). Now if you apply using my link and you will get up to RM350 TNG eWallet credit + 3-year annual fee waiver. Valid till 30 Jun 21 only, hurry! Only limited to new Citi credit cardmember. https://www.citibank.com.my/landing-page/citibank-referee/index.htm?media=Z1239725T&ecid=MGMBMMYCCAENOL
